Mitchell was born and raised in Mohawk, TN graduating from West Greene High School in 2007. He completed his Bachelor's degree from Tennessee Tech University in 2011 and started his career where he currently serves at the Tennessee Valley Authority. In 2011, he married his wife Brittaney.

 

In the first few years of marriage, God called Mitchell and Brittaney to the music ministry. They toured locally singing at various churches and events. In the following years while seeking God's will for their lives in a church family, God called them to help start EnCompass.

 

As a leader in the church, Mitchell serves as Elder, Worship Leader, and Technical Director.

 

Mitchell and Brittaney have 2 children, Eliza and Eleanor. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, learning new technology, four-wheeling, and golfing.
