Jesse was born and raised in Midway, TN where he currently still resides. He grew up under his father's leadership as pastor of Bibles' Chapel Church where he committed his life to Christ when he was young. Jesse graduated from West Greene High School in 2007 and went on to attend East Tennessee State University where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Education.
He went on to marry his wife in June of 2012 and began his teaching career in the fall of the same year. He is currently a High School Algebra teacher in the Greene County School system.
It wasn't until a Revival in 2013 that God started dealing with Jesse's heart about planting a church in the area. The more he had tried to avoid the call, the more burdened he became about seeing a different kind of church start to reach people with the Gospel.
Through much prayer and preparation, and through God's great grace, this call that Jesse had received became a reality in September of 2015 with the official launch of EnCompass Church.
After a long road of infertility struggles, Jesse and Lauren adopted their first child, Karis Fe, In January of 2016 and just had their 2nd child, Laney, in June 2017.

Email Sam LawsonVince was born and raised in upstate New York. He was not raised in church, and by the time he was a teenager he didn’t believe that God existed at all. Vince’s youth was a difficult time that left him feeling desperate and hopeless.
In December of 1999, Vince was confronted with the truth of the gospel and experienced a dramatic conversion at the age of 18. His life was changed forever by the power of the cross. Since then Vince has felt a call from God to minister to those who are in desperate need of hope.
During his college years in Florida, Vince fervently prayed for a wife and the Lord answered his prayers with Jessica. Bound by a common desire to serve the Lord, they moved to East Tennessee in 2007 to start their family. They now have three young children - Vinny, Sammy, and Katie.
Vince and Jessica are passionate about outreach and missions. Vince is currently finishing his Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practioner at ETSU. He hopes to use his medical skills to glorify God in hard to reach places throughout the world.
The Bergamo family has been attending Encompass Church since 2016. Their desire is to pursue God’s call on their life and bring hope to the hopeless through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
